Legalisation of documents and other Notarial Services
If you wish to have any document legalised by the British Embassy in La Paz, you need first to ensure that you have your document(s) legalised by the Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We cannot legalise documents that have not been legalised by the Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You must also pay the corresponding consular fee at the British Embassy.
The consular fee must be paid in cash at the British Embassy and you will need to submit your application in person, or through a third party at the British Embassy in La Paz
LEGALISING SIGNATURES
We can legalise signatures of the Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

VERIFYING A COPY OF A DOCUMENT
We can verify that a copy of a document is a true copy.
Waiting time: 1 working day
Fee: £25 Bs 300.00 (per copy)
CERTIFYING A TRANSLATION
We do not translate documents, but we do certify translations.
Waiting time: Depends on the length of the document
Fee: £ 45 Bs 540.00 (every 100 words)
RECEIVE NOTICE OF MARRIAGE
The Notice of Marriage must be posted for 21 days, before issuing the Certificate of No Impediment

ISSUE OF CERTIFICATE OF NO IMPEDIMENT
Waiting Time: 22 calendar days (See notice of marriage)
